This Cookies Policy explains what BalancedTrust stores on your device when you visit Balanced-Trust.com, and why. In short: this website does not use cookies. Cookies we use

None. This website sets no cookies of its own, and it does not allow advertising networks, social networks, or other third parties to set cookies through it. There is no cross site tracking, no advertising pixels, and no profiling of visitors.

Strictly necessary storage

The site keeps one item in your browser's session storage, named tsr-scroll-restoration. It records your scroll position so that moving back and forward through the site returns you to the place you left. It holds no personal information, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and your browser discards it as soon as you close the tab.

Storage of this kind is exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive and comparable rules, because the site cannot provide the service you asked for without it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors move through the site. It is cookieless. It stores nothing on your device and does not create a persistent identifier that could be used to recognise you between visits or across other websites. What we see is aggregated: counts of page views, the referring site, country, and broad device and browser type.

Embedded video

The product video on our home page does not load until you choose to play it. Before you click, no request is made to the video provider and nothing is stored on your device. If you do play it, the player is served through YouTube's privacy enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com, and from that point YouTube may store data on your device under its own terms.

Links to other websites

Some pages, including our partner directory, link out to other organisations. Once you follow one of those links, that website's own storage and privacy practices apply rather than ours, and we have no control over them.

Managing storage in your browser

Because this site stores only what is strictly necessary, there is no tracking to opt out of. You can still clear or block site data at any time through your browser settings. Blocking storage for this site will not stop you using it, although your browser may no longer restore your scroll position.

Changes to this policy

If we introduce cookies or any other non essential storage in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such storage is placed on your device.
